Frequently asked questions
Is the platform available to associations only?
You don't need to be an association to benefit from our platform. It's open to clubs of all sizes, from associations to companies such as riding schools.
Is the platform reserved for sports clubs only?
It was originally designed for sports clubs. But music schools, theater clubs, BDEs, sports associations (etc.) face the same problems, and can use our platform without any worries.
Is the solution really free for my Club?
Absolutely, no hidden fees, all our features are 100% free for clubs.
How do you make money if the solution is free?
Our remuneration is based on another business model, namely commissions on optional insurance services, vouchers or merchandising.
What happens if one of my members' direct debits doesn't go through on an installment plan (obsolete card, insufficient funds, etc.)?
Our banking partner will contact your member to update their payment details or reschedule a direct debit. In all cases, your cash flow is secure. Sportyneo will never ask you for a refund following a member's non-payment.
Can members pay their fees & courses by other means than credit card?
Absolutely. Each Club can decide to activate CB only (which we recommend to save time and paperwork), or to offer other means such as checks and cash.
Can we manage discounts such as Pass'Sport, Pass Région, ANCV vouchers, etc.?
Yes, the platform handles it all. You can even add personalized discounts such as family discounts, council discounts...
Can all club members be covered by practice interruption insurance?
Yes, it's now possible. At the request of many Clubs, we have introduced this new optional solution. As the cost of insurance is on average 5%, we advise clubs to increase their registration fee by 5%, to cover all their members and have no additional costs. Clubs can also decide to cover this cost themselves. In any case, with this insurance, if one of your members is injured during the year, moves house, has health problems, or simply changes his or her mind (courses only), the insurance will reimburse them and the Club will have no unexpected outgoings.
If my licensees take out their own insurance, how much does it cost?
Interruption of practice insurance, for annual subscriptions, will cost the member 4.5% of the subscription amount. In practical terms, this means that for a membership fee of €100, the member will pay an additional €4.50.
Practice interruption insurance for internships is 5.3% of the internship amount. It's a little higher because it includes more guarantees, such as change of mind. If your member changes his or her mind the day before the course, without any justification, the insurance will reimburse 70% of the amount paid for the course, and you keep the full amount. It's a great guarantee for Clubs, which is why they want to insure all their members automatically.
I don't understand the difference between the "Club Shop" and the "Online Shop"?
In the Club store, you can place any clothing or equipment with a Club logo. In this case, the Club takes care of all the ordering, which can be time-consuming, but is sometimes necessary.
In addition, we offer an online store with our own suppliers, whose big advantage is that we can manage everything, freeing up the Clubs' time. Just like an e-commerce site, members can go to the Club page whenever they like, all year round, and order T-shirts, jogging suits, caps, mugs (etc.) with the Club logo. They receive their order at home.
For the Club, there's no longer any need to wait and re-contact each member before launching an order, nor to have a minimum quantity, then distribute the right size to everyone, and so on.
And best of all, the Club will receive 10% of commission on the total annual orders of its members, without doing anything!
Does insurance cover packages or session cards?
Yes, our sports license insurance also covers this type of offer. All you need to do is enter the period of validity of your packages and session cards when you set up your activity.
